Paul Gosling

Paul Gosling was a co-operative development worker from 1981 to 1989 and a Labour/Co-operative councillor from 1987 to 1991. He has been a journalist for more than 25 years and was a columnist for over 20 years for Co-op News.

He has written various books and booklets, including several on the co-operative economy published by the Co-operative Party and Social Enterprise London.

Paul continues to contribute a weekly column to The Independent, answering readers’ financial questions, and is a specialist writer on the accountancy profession. He lives in Northern Ireland, where he is a regular broadcast commentator on politics and the economy.

The “Building An Economy To Serve People And Not Profit” conference will take place in Manchester on Thursday 21st January (10am-4pm) in the Central Hall.
